Add a game in switch partner Round Robin
Use this when you need to add an extra match to a generated switch partner round robin round. You can add the game from the admin menu, assign players, and delete the placeholder game later if it is still unused.
This is most useful when a round needs one more match that was not part of the original generated schedule.
Add a game
Open the round you want to update.
Tap the Admin menu, then choose Add Game.
Select the round.
Choose whether the game is singles or doubles.
If the division has multiple groups, select the correct group.
Create the game.
The new game starts as BYE vs BYE. Tap the pencil icon on either team to assign players.
Assign players to the added game
When you open the Assign Players dialog, players who have a BYE in that round appear at the top so they are easier to find.
In doubles, you cannot select the same player for both spots.
If you choose None (Remove Player) for Player 1, Player 2 is cleared automatically.
If only one player is assigned on a doubles team, the team shows as Player Name & BYE until the partner is added.
If you need to change who is available in a group before assigning players, see Managing rounds in Round Robin and Editing groups in Round Robin.
Delete an added game
You can remove an added game only when it is still an unused placeholder.
Find the added game.
Tap the trash icon.
You can delete the game only if it is an unplayed BYE vs BYE match. Games with scores or games that are currently live cannot be deleted. If deletion is blocked, the error message explains why.
What happens behind the scenes
Added games are not auto-assigned to courts until both teams have real players assigned.
Error messages show the actual reason instead of a generic failure message.
