Configuring your event

Court configuration per division

Use division-level court configuration when different divisions need different court counts, availability, or assignment rules. It keeps scheduling accurate when one division plays on fewer courts, starts later, or follows a different court setup than the rest of the event.

Set up your club’s courts in Court management and cameras before you fine-tune division settings.

How it works

  • Each division can have its own court list. If set, the scheduler and auto-assign use only those courts for that division, ignoring tournament-level courts.

  • If a division has no court configuration, it falls back to the tournament-level courts.

  • When any division's courts are saved or cleared, the tournament-level config is automatically rebuilt as the union of all division courts.

  • Court availability is scoped per division — a court occupied by a match in one division is still available in another.

Set it up

  1. Open the event's Event Settings.

  2. Choose Configure Courts.

  3. Select the division you want to edit.

  4. Pick courts from your club's court list, or enter court numbers manually.

  5. Save. The tournament-level config updates automatically.

To clear a division's courts, save with no courts selected. The division will fall back to the tournament-level config.

What to watch for

  • Division courts replace (not add to) the tournament courts for that division's scheduling and auto-assign.

  • Divisions can share the same courts — availability is tracked independently per division.

  • Update court configuration before generating rounds so court counts are correct from the start.
