How the Club Automation integration works
Our Club Automation integration brings your Club Automation (Daxko) leagues and round robins into Good Game Sports, with their dates and registered players, so you can run them here. It only reads from Club Automation and never changes your data there. Our team connects it for you: ask your Daxko representative to set up the integration first, then contact us.
Before we connect your club
Ask your Daxko representative to add Good Game Sports as an integration, and sign the request they send you.
Make sure the integration's API user can view schedules and search members. Your Daxko representative can check this.
Find your Club Automation client ID. It starts with CA_, for example CA_1234.
Contact Good Game Sports support with your client ID and we'll connect your club.
Once connected, a club admin chooses which Club Automation locations belong to your club and which sports to bring in, then clicks Save. Nothing syncs until at least one location is chosen. If you choose no sports, every sport comes in. The Club Automation page isn't in your club's Settings menu yet, so ask support for the link.
What comes across
Programs become leagues, one league over the dates you choose.
Group Activities become a series of single-day round robin events, one per date.
Registered players: first and last name, email and cell phone. For Group Activities, only members with Registered status come across, not waitlisted ones.
Court reservations, private lessons, payments and your member directory don't come across. Imported events have no price or registration in Good Game Sports: players keep registering and paying in Club Automation.
Import an event
Events from Club Automation appear on your Club Automation page but aren't created in Good Game Sports until you import them. We look 100 days ahead.
On the Club Automation page, click Browse and import.
Find the event under LEAGUES or ROUND ROBINS and click Import.
For a league, choose the First date and Last date. Programs usually run in 8-week sessions, so import the next session when it starts with Import more.
Choose Singles or Doubles and the format.
Click Import.
You become the host of the events you import. For round robins, new dates that Club Automation adds are created in the series automatically.
How players stay in sync
We sync with Club Automation automatically in the background. To sync straight away, click Sync now on the Club Automation page, or the sync button on an event's player list.
A player who registers in Club Automation is added to the event. In a league they're opted in to every date; in a single-day event they're checked in.
A player who cancels in Club Automation isn't removed. They're marked Removed from Club Automation on your player list, and you decide whether to withdraw them.
Players you add by hand in Good Game Sports stay, marked as not synced from Club Automation.
A player's opt-out is never overwritten by a sync.
A player new to your club appears under their Club Automation name until they claim their spot. Once they claim it, their other Club Automation registrations at your club link to their account automatically.
What you can't do
Change an imported event's time in Good Game Sports. Times are managed in Club Automation, so change them there and they sync across.
Send anything back to Club Automation. Scores, standings and roster changes stay in Good Game Sports.
Connect your club yourself, or switch to a different client ID. Contact support for both.
Disconnect
A club admin can click Disconnect Club Automation on the Club Automation page. Syncing stops, and events you already imported stay as they are. Your settings are kept if you connect again.
