Set up memberships for your club
Memberships come with our facility plans: Starter, Pro and Champion. When your club moves onto one and has no tiers yet, we switch memberships on and put every current club member on a free tier called Free tier. From there you connect Stripe (for paid tiers), create your tiers, choose your membership settings, and share your membership link with players.
Before you start
A facility plan. Club owners can compare plans from the club's Settings. Tap Upgrade your plan if you already pay for a plan, or Good Game Sports subscription if you don't. Starter includes membership plans, billing and the member portal.
Stripe, for paid tiers. Dues go to your club's own Stripe account, so connect Stripe before you charge for a tier. Free tiers work right away.
Owner access. Only the club owner can create or edit tiers and change membership settings. Staff can still add members and assign tiers.
On your club's home page, the Finish setting up your facility card tracks these steps, including Connect Stripe and Set up your first tier. Tap a step to go straight to it.
Create your tiers
A tier is a plan players can join, with its own price, billing and benefits.
On your club page, open Members.
Go to Tiers & plans and click New tier.
Name the tier, set its price under Pricing, and add any member discounts under Benefits (paid tiers only).
Under Availability, keep Public on portal and Allow self-signup on so players can join it themselves. Both are on for a new tier.
Click Create.
With more than one tier, drag them into the order you want. Players see tiers in that order when they browse plans.
Choose your membership settings
Owners set club-wide rules in Members > Settings, then click Save settings.
Default tiers: the Signup default tier players land on when they join your club (only a free tier enrolls people automatically), and the Staff-assign default listed first when staff assign a tier.
Signup: turn on Require membership at signup to make new club members choose a tier when they join.
What you collect from members: ask for Phone number, Date of birth, Home address or Emergency contact. Existing members are asked for anything new the next time they open your club.
Display & reminders: show tier badges on rosters with Show short code, and send Renewal reminders by email before each charge.
Billing: how staff assignments mid-cycle are charged, how many days a member keeps access after a failed payment while we retry the card, and whether members pay the card processing fee on dues.
If your club has a waiver or terms, members agree to them when they join. Write them from the Welcome your members step on the setup card.
Share your membership link
In Members > Settings, the Public membership link takes players straight to your plans, sign-in included. Copy it onto your website, social profiles or a QR code at the desk. Players can also tap the Join card with your club's name on your club page to browse your plans.
Already have members in CourtReserve? We can bring them over for you with their tiers, renewal dates and balances, so they only need to claim their membership.
