Send a proposal and make changes after sending
Send a proposal by clicking Finalize & copy link on its proposal page, then paste the link into your own email or text to the organizer. We don't email the proposal for you, so it comes from you and lands in the conversation you're already having.
Send the proposal
On the proposal page, click Finalize & copy link.
Paste the link into your email or message to the organizer and send it.
Finalizing locks that version so the price the organizer sees can't change under them, and moves the request from New to Quoted. To copy the link again later, click Copy proposal link on the proposal.
See where it stands
The version's status shows at the bottom of the proposal page and on the inbox card:
Sent: you've finalized it.
Viewed: the organizer opened the link. Your own clicks on the link don't count.
Signed, then Deposit paid and Paid as money comes in.
Expired: the proposal passed the date it's good until without being signed.
Change a proposal you already sent
Make a new version when the organizer asks for changes, even after they've signed or paid.
On the proposal page, click Revise.
Make your changes.
Click Finalize & copy link, confirm, and send the new link.
The link to the earlier version stops working. If the organizer had signed, they sign the new version too, and anything they've already paid counts toward the new total.
Earlier versions stay listed under Earlier versions, and the History card at the bottom of the proposal page records who changed what, and when.
