Clear and regenerate the bracket
If you generated the bracket too early, picked the wrong advancement option, or need to change who qualified, clear the bracket and build it again.
Clear the bracket
Open the Knockout tab.
Tap the Admin button.
Select Clear Knockout Bracket.
Confirm.
All knockout matches are removed, including any scores already entered in them.
Clearing the bracket cannot be undone. Every bracket score is deleted.
Pool play is not affected. Pool matches, their scores, and the standings all stay exactly as they were — clearing only touches the knockout stage.
Regenerate
After clearing, run Generate Bracket again with the settings you want. Because pool standings are untouched, the new bracket seeds from the same results unless you have since changed pool scores.
When you would do this
Pools were not finished when you generated. The most common case. Finish scoring pools, clear the bracket, and generate again so the seeding reflects the final standings.
Wrong advancement option. For example you chose Finals + Third Place Only and actually wanted the top 4 playing semifinals. Clear and regenerate with Pick Total Number of Teams.
A pool score was corrected after generating. The bracket does not re-seed itself when a pool result changes. Clear and regenerate to pick up the corrected standings.
A team withdrew before the playoff. Clear the bracket, sort the roster out, then regenerate.
