Removing a player who has a set partner
Removing one half of a set partnership takes the whole pair off the schedule. A fixed pair enters as one competitor, so the partner who is still registered cannot be given matches on their own. Everything the pair already played stays on the record, and you put the remaining player back in play by giving them a new partner or by adding the removed player back.
What comes off the schedule
The change applies the next time you generate or regenerate. Matches already on the board are left alone until you replace them.
Neither player is drawn into newly generated matches.
Neither player is seeded into a new bracket or knockout draw.
The remaining player is reported as having no partner when you generate, alongside anyone else who is unpaired.
What stays
Every match the pair already played, with its scores.
Their opponents' win and loss records. We filter the pair out of the standings table rather than deleting their matches, so nobody else's season changes.
A player who has no results yet is removed from the event outright rather than marked as withdrawn, so there is no withdrawn entry to add back. Register them again if you need them later.
How the standings read afterwards
In a set-partner division the standings row belongs to the pair, not to either person, so it stays on the table with its record until you pair the remaining player with someone else. The replacement pair then takes the slot and the old row drops off. This keeps the remaining player's season visible while they wait for a partner.
In formats where each player is ranked on their own, a removed player comes off the standings straight away.
Put the remaining player back in play
You have two options, and both take effect at the next generation.
Give the remaining player a new partner from the player list, then generate the next round. The new pair is drawn in and the old row drops off the standings.
Or add the removed player back:
In the player list, find the player. They show as Withdrawn with the reason you gave.
Tap the pencil.
Click Add back.
Generate the next round. The pair is drawn in again.
If they are only missing a few weeks
Opt them out of those dates instead of removing them. The pair keeps its place and its record, both players come off the schedule only for the dates you chose, and they are drawn in again for the rest. You can let players opt themselves in and out so they can do this without you.
Singles and no-partner formats
Where each player enters on their own, removing one takes only that player off the schedule. Everyone else is drawn as normal, and there is no partner left waiting.
