Edit or delete an event
Change an event's name, date, format, or pricing from your Host Dashboard, under Settings > Edit Event. Deleting is in the same Settings list, at the bottom. You need club admin access to the club hosting the event.
Edit an event
Edit Event splits into three editors, so start by picking the one that holds the field you're changing.
Open the event and go to the Host Dashboard.
Open Settings.
Click Edit Event.
Choose Event Details for the name, location, dates, format, and pricing.
Make your changes and save.
The other two editors in that dialog:
Divisions — add, edit, or remove divisions. On a single-division event this reads Additional Information, where you set skill level, age, and rating requirements.
Event Description — rules, logistics, contact info, and policies.
Event dates live in Event Details. If a date looks wrong on your event, that's the field to change — it's separate from the date the event was created.
Delete an event
Deleting takes the event off your club page along with its registrations, matches, and scores. You can't reverse it from the app.
Open the event's Host Dashboard and go to Settings.
Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Delete Event.
Confirm with Delete event.
If the event was created from CourtReserve, deleting it releases the CourtReserve link. That frees the CourtReserve event so you can build a new Good Game Sports event from it.
We keep deleted event data on our side even though the app can't restore it. If you delete the wrong event, email [email protected] with the event name and club and we can bring it back.
You created the same event twice
Edit the one you're keeping, then delete the duplicate. There's no way to merge two separate events — the Merge Divisions setting only combines divisions inside a single event.
Check which copy players have registered for before you delete. Deleting takes its registrations with it.
