Check members and guests in at the Front desk
Open Front desk on your club page, search for the member by name or email (or scan the QR code on their phone), and tap Check in. They appear under Checked in today with their membership tier and anything they owe. The Front desk is for people arriving at your club. To check players into an event, see Check-in and check-out.
Before you start:
You need to be a club admin (owner or staff).
The Front desk appears once your club has memberships turned on.
It works in the app and on the web. The Book a court shortcut only shows on a computer-sized screen, and only if your club uses the Scheduler.
Open the Front desk
On a computer: click Front desk in the club sidebar, just under Home.
In the app: on your club home, open Admin tools and tap Front desk.
The page shows today's arrivals, a Courts right now board of which courts are in play or open, and Today's programs with sign-up counts. The New sale shortcut opens the Point of Sale register.
Check a member in by name
Type a name or email in Search a name or email, or just scan. Members and guests that match appear as you type.
Tap Check in next to the person, or press Enter to check in the top match.
Their arrival card opens with the check-in time, their tier at check-in, any amount outstanding, and what they are booked for today.
Only people who have joined your club, or a family profile of a member, can be checked in. If someone already checked in within the last 2 hours, we ask before recording a second visit. Tap Check in again to record it anyway.
Scan a member's QR code
Members with an active membership see a Check in card with a QR code on your club home page. Members with family profiles pick who is checking in first. The code changes every 2 minutes, so a screenshot stops working.
Tap Scan a member in.
Point the camera at the code on their phone. Use Flash if the screen is dim, or Switch camera.
The scanner stays open for the next member. A USB or Bluetooth desk scanner also works anywhere on the Front desk page, even while an arrival card is open. If a code has expired, ask the member to refresh it and scan again.
Check in a guest or a family
Guests you added to the club who haven't set up an account show in search as Guest with their tier. Check them in the same way. When they later set up an account, the visit moves to it.
For a family, the arrival card lists everyone under HOUSEHOLD. Tap Check in next to each person, or Check in all.
Collect a balance or sell a package
Checking in never blocks anyone. A member with an unpaid balance or no active membership still checks in, and the card flags it in red (Outstanding or No membership). Check-in also doesn't use up a package or pass.
Collect charges what they owe on your card reader. See Pair a Stripe card reader for your front desk.
Sell a package sells them a package on the spot.
Add to an event adds a member to one of today's events. It isn't offered for guests.
Remove a mistaken check-in
Use this for a double scan or the wrong person. There is no check-out.
Tap the person's chip under Checked in today, or their row in the Full log.
Tap Remove, then confirm with Remove.
The visit comes off today's arrivals and the count. To look back at another day, use the Previous day arrow on the Full log.
