Set up a family membership
A family membership is a tier where one membership covers several people in a household. Only the primary member is billed, and everyone on the family gets the tier's benefits. You turn it on with Family membership under Pricing when you create or edit a tier, then choose how the price grows with the size of the household.
Only the club owner can create or edit tiers.
Make a tier a family tier
Go to Members > Tiers & plans and open the tier, or click New tier.
Under Pricing, turn on Family membership.
Enter Max people (blank = no max). The primary member counts toward it, so a max of 4 means the primary plus 3 more.
Set the price (see below).
Decide whether Members manage their family stays on. Turn it off if only staff should add or remove people.
Click Save (or Create).
Price by household size
The tier's own price covers one person. You have two ways to charge more for bigger households:
Per extra person (USD): each extra person adds this amount every billing cycle. Leave it blank for one price whatever the household size.
Price by household size: each size starts at the per-person math. Tick Custom beside a size to set your own price for it, or use Customize all. A custom price can't go below the one-person price.
On a tier priced by household size, the member chooses a household size when they join. That size sets both their price and the most people they can add. To add more people later, they tap Change household size, and the extra is charged before the new size takes effect. A household can't shrink below the number of people already on it.
When you change a tier's pricing, current members keep the price they joined at.
Add family members
People added to a family need to be members of your club with their own Good Game Sports account, or a family profile on the primary's account (such as a child).
Members: with Members manage their family on, the primary opens My Membership on your club page and taps Add family member. Family members can also leave the plan themselves with Leave family plan, which returns them to the free tier.
Staff: in Members > Players & Members, open the primary's row menu and choose Manage family, then Add family member or Remove. Staff can always manage a family, even with member management turned off.
When the family is full, adding another person is refused until the household size or the max is raised. Anyone added with their own account signs in and completes their own details. The primary completes the details for family profiles on their account.
A free family tier can't be your club's default tier. Canceling a family membership ends coverage for everyone on it.
Other ways to cover family
A member can also buy a separate membership for a child or other family member on their account. That person gets their own tier, billed to the member's card, shown under Your family on My Membership.
