Cancel a member's membership
Cancel a member's membership from their profile in Members. You choose when it ends: at the end of the period they've paid for, on a date you pick, or now. Canceling stops future charges but keeps the person in your club; if your club has a default free tier, they move onto it when the membership ends.
You need club admin access. To take someone out of the club altogether, remove them from the club instead.
Cancel one member
On your club page, open Members and go to Players & Members.
Click the member's name to open their profile.
In the Manage card, click Cancel membership.
Choose when it ends:
At the end of the paid period: they keep their tier until the date shown, with no more charges.
On a date: pick any day up to the end of the paid period.
Now: the membership ends today.
Pick a reason, or add details. Reasons feed your retention report.
Click the red confirm button, for example Cancel at period end or Cancel now.
Canceling never refunds anything automatically, including when you choose Now. To give money back, refund the charge from the member's Ledger & payments.
A free membership has no paid period, so it can only be canceled now.
Change a scheduled cancellation
Once a cancellation is scheduled, the profile shows the end date and the button reads Change cancellation. Open it to pick a different end, such as ending the membership now instead of at period end.
Family memberships
If the member holds a family membership with other people on it, we ask you to confirm with Cancel the family before going ahead. Everyone covered by that membership loses their coverage when it ends.
When Cancel membership isn't available
The member is already on your club's default free tier, so there is nothing to cancel.
The member is on a tier that comes from a pass pack. That tier ends on its own when the passes run out. Take back the passes, or change the tier instead.
Cancel many members at once
Club owners can cancel several memberships together from Members > Bulk update: choose the action Cancel memberships, then set When to At end of current period or Immediately, with an optional reason.
