Moving players between divisions
Move a player to a different division by editing them and changing their Division. To put the same players in a second division as well, copy them with Copy Players To... instead.
Before you move or copy anyone: check the target division’s capacity, eligibility rules, and current round status. Changes can affect seeding, standings, and the schedule.
Move one player to another division
Make the move before you generate rounds or brackets whenever possible. That keeps seeding, standings, and scheduling clean.
On the Host Dashboard, open the Players tab.
Tap the pencil (Edit player) on the player's row.
Pick the new division in the Division dropdown.
Click Save.
If the player's gender doesn't match the new division, we warn you first. Choose Move anyway to go ahead.
If the event is already underway, review the impact on the current round before you save the change.
Copy players between divisions
Use this when players should stay in their current division and also be added to another division.
Open the event and go to Players.
In the source division, click the three-dot Division actions menu next to its name.
Click Copy Players To....
In Select Players to Copy, choose the players you want to copy and click Next.
In Copy Players To, choose the destination division and confirm the copy.
Players already in the destination division are skipped automatically, so the copy does not create duplicates.
After you copy players, review both divisions to confirm the right players appear in each list and that the next round still looks correct.
What changes after a move or copy
A moved player leaves the old division's list and joins the new one. Check both divisions' standings afterwards.
A copied player stays in the original division and is also added to the destination division.
Rounds you generate after the change use the new division lists.
Timing matters
Make changes as early as you can, then confirm the next generated round before the division starts play. If you wait until after matches are live, review standings and scheduling again.
