Change how many players can register for a division
A division's registrant limit is its Capacity, and you change it in Edit Event rather than Event Settings. You need club admin access to the club hosting the event.
Change a division's capacity
Capacity is set per division, so an event with three divisions has three separate limits.
Open the event and go to the Host Dashboard.
Open Settings, then click Edit Event.
Choose Divisions. On a single-division event this reads Additional Information.
Enter the new number in Capacity. Where players register as a pair, the field reads Max Teams and counts teams, not players.
Save.
Leave Capacity empty to let registration run without a limit.
Lowering the capacity below the number of players already in the division removes nobody. The division counts as full until enough players withdraw.
What happens when a division fills
Players who reach a full division join its waitlist instead of registering, and a waitlist entry charges nothing.
Players have to be signed in to join a waitlist. Guest checkout cannot.
A full division has to be registered on its own, separately from divisions that still have room.
Raising the capacity does not move anyone off the waitlist. Offer each spot from Manage Waitlist on the Host Dashboard, which notifies the player and gives them a deadline to claim it.
Limit how many divisions one player enters
This is a different limit from capacity: capacity caps the players in one division, while this caps the divisions a single player can sign up for across the event.
Open the event's Host Dashboard and go to Event Settings.
Click Pricing Configuration.
Set Max divisions per player and save it with the Save button beside the field.
Players are charged for each division they enter, so raising this raises what a multi-division registration costs.
