Manage rounds and play dates in Rotating Partner Round Robin
Use the Admin menu on the Matches tab to add rounds, set round or play dates, change round labels, clear a round, and choose how matches are organized in Rotating Partner Round Robin.
For the full format lifecycle, see the Rotating Partner Round Robin walkthrough.
Add rounds
Add rounds appends new rounds after your current schedule without changing existing matches or scores.
On the Matches tab, open the Admin menu.
Select Add Rounds.
Choose how many rounds to add.
Confirm.
New rounds are added after the current rounds. Existing rounds and scores stay unchanged.
[!INFO] Groups are self-contained in this format. New rounds pair players only with others in their own group, the same as the rounds already on the schedule.
Add more rounds from Edit Rounds
Use Edit Rounds when you want to append a specific number of rounds, optionally with one shared date.
On the Matches tab, open the Admin menu.
Select Edit Rounds.
Choose Add More Rounds.
Select how many rounds to add (1–10).
Optionally set a Round date so all new rounds use that date.
Confirm with Add Rounds.
Existing matches and scores are preserved. For league events, the player group editor can open after you add rounds so you can adjust groups before the new rounds are used.
In a league date view, the same add path can appear as Add Rounds to This Date.
Manage round dates
Assign a date and time to each round so the schedule lines up with when players show up.
On the Matches tab, open the Admin menu.
Select Manage Round Dates.
Tap a round card and set the date and time.
Use X to clear a date.
Save.
For non-league events, this is the standard way to date each round.
Manage play dates in leagues
League events use Manage Play Dates so each session is a play date instead of only a round number.
On the Matches tab, open the Admin menu.
Select Manage Play Dates.
Tap Add Play Date.
Choose the date and time, then confirm.
Adding a play date creates the rounds for that date. After you add it, go to that date and generate matches for it — see Generate matches by play date in a Rotating Partner Round Robin league.
Edit a play date
Tap the date card in Manage Play Dates, update the date or time, and save. Changing a play date updates all rounds on that date.
Remove a play date
You can remove a play date only when it has no generated matches.
Open Manage Play Dates.
Tap the date you want to remove.
Remove the play date and confirm.
[!WARNING] You cannot remove a play date that already has generated matches. Clear those matches first if you need to delete the date.
Change the round label
Rounds default to the label Round (Round 1, Round 2, and so on). You can replace that word with a custom label such as Week, Session, or Day.
On the Matches tab, open the Admin menu.
Select Change Round Label.
Enter the new label.
Save.
Custom round labels are for league events. When a date includes multiple rounds, the label also appears in the sub-round naming.
Clear a round
Clear a round when you need to delete all matches and scores in that round before rebuilding it.
On the Matches tab, open the Admin menu.
Select Clear Round.
Choose which round to clear.
Confirm.
You can clear any round, not only the latest one. That lets you redo an earlier round without wiping later rounds.
[!WARNING] Clearing a round deletes all matches and scores in that round and cannot be undone. Clearing a round that is not the latest can leave gaps in round numbering—for example, clearing Round 2 while keeping Round 3 leaves rounds numbered 1, 3, 4, and so on.
Organize matches by round or by date
Choose how the Matches tab groups the schedule.
On the Matches tab, open the Admin menu.
Select Organize Matches.
Choose one view:
By Round — navigate matches one round at a time
By Date — group all rounds that share the same date together
Save.
Rotating Partner Round Robin leagues default to By Date. Non-league events default to By Round.
League opt-in and play dates
In leagues, players use Opt In and Opt Out for each session instead of the day-of check-in used by tournaments. Set play dates first, then configure the opt-in deadline, because the deadline countdown is calculated from each round date.
Players choose Opt In or Opt Out per session.
After the deadline, players see Opt-in deadline has passed.
When you generate matches by date, only opted-in players are included.
Opted-out players appear in Excluded in the group editor.
For deadlines, reminders, and host controls, see League opt-in.
