Troubleshoot Rotating Partner Round Robin

In a single day event or tournament, Generate Matches rebuilds every round and clears the existing matches, so it disappears from the Admin menu once any match has a score. To rebuild only the later rounds and keep the scored ones:

1. Tap Admin > Add/Regenerate Rounds.

2. Choose Regenerate Rounds.

3. Pick the round to start from under Regenerate from round, then confirm.

In a league shown By Date, tap Admin > Regenerate This Date and choose From a round instead. Rounds that already have scores must be cleared before they can be regenerated.

Group changes apply only through the choice you make after saving. Open Admin > Edit Player Groups, make your changes, and tap Save & Generate. In the dialog that opens, regenerate from the next unplayed round so completed scores stay. See Edit player groups and regenerate.

Remove Players deletes the unplayed matches that included the player and nothing else. It does not fill the gaps or rebalance the schedule. Regenerate with From a round, starting at the next unplayed round, to rebuild the remaining rounds around the players you still have.

The court restriction box (labelled with your court count, such as Restrict to 2 Courts) was ticked when you generated, and you have fewer courts than the round needs. Each round is capped at your court count and the remaining players get a bye. For example, 12 doubles players on 2 courts play 2 matches a round instead of 3.

• Add courts in Admin > Configure Courts, then regenerate.

• Regenerate with the court restriction unticked so every match is scheduled and extra matches wait for a free court.

• Keep the restriction if every match in a round should start together.

That group has fewer than 4 players, and a doubles match needs 4. The round is still created with everyone sitting, and the app shows a warning after generating that the group needs at least 4 players. This usually follows splitting a small field into too many groups, or removing players until a group drops below 4.

1. Open Admin > Edit Player Groups.

2. Move players into the small group, or move its players elsewhere and remove the group.

3. Save and regenerate.

Group sizes that divide by 4 produce no byes.

In a single day event or tournament, clearing a round also clears every round after it, so numbers stay contiguous. In a league you can clear a round in the middle, which leaves a gap such as 1, 3, 4. Regenerate the affected rounds if you need contiguous numbers.

An added game can be deleted with its trash icon while it is unplayed, including after you assign players. Once it has a score, deletion is blocked. See Add an extra game in Rotating Partner Round Robin.
