Generate matches by play date in a Rotating Partner Round Robin league
In a Round Robin (Rotating Partners) league, you build the schedule one play date at a time — generate this week's rounds now, next week's later. Tournaments and single day events work differently: they generate every round in one pass.

Why leagues generate per date
A league roster changes week to week. Generating per date means each week's matches are built from the players who actually opted in for that week, instead of locking in a full season of pairings that dropouts would invalidate.
Each date is scheduled independently:
Partners rotate within that date's rounds.
Earlier dates are taken into account, so players who have already partnered are less likely to be paired again in later weeks.
Byes are balanced within the date.
Before you generate
Add your play dates first — see Manage rounds and play dates in Rotating Partner Round Robin. Adding a play date creates that date's rounds; it does not create matches.
Give players time to opt in for that date.
Confirm your courts — see Configure courts for Rotating Partner Round Robin.
Generate matches for one play date
Open the league and go to the Matches tab.
Select the play date you want from the date tabs.
Tap the Admin button.
Select Generate Matches.
Enter the number of rounds for this date.
Enter the number of groups (pools), and choose Random Pools or customize them.
Review the groups view. Move players between groups, or move a player to Excluded to leave them out of this date.
Tap Continue, then Confirm.
Only the selected date generates. Other play dates and their scores are untouched.
Who gets included
Players opted in for that date are scheduled.
Players opted out for that date appear in Excluded.
If fewer than 4 players have opted in, the app includes the full division roster instead of leaving you unable to generate. Check the groups view before you confirm so nobody unexpected is scheduled.

Regenerate one play date
Rebuild a single date without touching the rest of the season.
Select the play date.
Tap Admin, then Clear Round.
Choose the round to clear and confirm. Repeat for each round on that date.
Run Generate Matches again for that date.
[!WARNING] Clearing a round deletes its matches and scores and cannot be undone. You cannot generate on top of a round that already has matches — clear it first.
Rounds that already have scores are protected: regeneration will not overwrite a scored round. Clear the scores first if you need to rebuild it.
Add rounds to a date
To extend a date that has already been generated, use Add Rounds to This Date rather than regenerating. Existing matches and scores are preserved. See Manage rounds and play dates in Rotating Partner Round Robin.
What happens after generation
Matches appear under the play date you selected. Leagues default to the By Date view.
Court assignments appear if courts are configured.
Players receive notifications if alerts are enabled.
