Pause or resume a membership
Pause a member's paid membership from Members > Players & Members: open their row menu or profile and choose Pause membership. Billing stops and the paid days they had left are saved. While paused they drop to free-tier access, with no member discounts or member pricing, until the membership resumes on a date you pick or when you resume it.
Members can pause their own membership too, if the tier allows it. To end a membership instead, see Cancel a member's membership.
Pause a member's membership
Any club admin can pause an active, paid membership, whatever the tier's own pause rules say. Free memberships have no billing to pause.
On your club page, open Members and go to Players & Members.
Open the member's row menu, or the Manage card on their profile, and choose Pause membership.
Choose Until resumed manually, or Until a date… and pick the day it resumes (up to a year ahead).
The member's status changes to Paused. Their profile shows when it Resumes.
Resume a membership
Open the member's row menu or profile.
Choose Resume membership, then confirm with Resume.
The membership becomes active that day, and the paid days saved at the pause start counting down again. A pause with a date resumes by itself that day.
Let members pause their own membership
Members only see a Pause button when the tier allows it. The club owner sets this per tier:
Go to Members > Tiers & plans and open the tier.
Under Availability, turn on Allow pause.
Optionally set Longest pause (days) and Pauses per year. Leave them blank for no limit.
Click Save.
The member then opens My Membership on your club page, taps Pause and chooses Until I resume it or Until a date…. With a longest pause set, an open-ended pause resumes by itself after that many days. They can resume early with Resume.
Allow member self-change must also be on for the tier. Otherwise members see that their membership is managed by club staff, and get no buttons.
A pause doesn't lose the member any paid time. The days they had left are kept and used up after they resume.
