Run your event from Host View: Live, Queue and Completed tabs
Host View shows every division's matches in one place, on three tabs: LIVE, QUEUE and COMPLETED. Use the QUEUE tab to line up ready matches and send them to open courts without switching divisions. Only hosts and admins can open it.
Formats with Host View
Double Elimination
Round Robin to Single Elimination
Standard Round Robin (Set Partners)
Reign of the Court (Set Partners)
Team Event / MLP (and older MLP and PTL divisions)
Single Elimination, Triple Elimination and Compass have no Host View. For those, assign courts from the bracket itself. See Court management in bracket formats.
Open Host View
Generate matches or the bracket in each division first.
On the event page, tap View Matches (on a phone, Matches).
In the division dropdown, choose Host View.
The Host View button on the event page opens your Host Dashboard, which is a different screen. The LIVE, QUEUE and COMPLETED tabs are in the division dropdown on the matches page.
The three tabs
Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
LIVE | Matches in progress across the event. |
QUEUE | The match queue, which courts are free or in use, and controls to send matches to courts. |
COMPLETED | Finished matches across all divisions, with search, for checking results or settling a dispute. |
Host View updates as matches go live, change score or finish, so you don't need to refresh.
Use the queue
On QUEUE, tap the Admin button and select Configure Courts to add your courts, if you haven't yet.
When a division is ready to start, open the Admin menu and select Generate Queue.
Pick the divisions to add (or Select All) and tap Generate. Their matches that are ready to play join the queue.
When a court is free, tap Call on a match at the top of the queue, pick the court, and tap Assign Court.
Call appears only on as many matches as you have free courts, starting from the top of the queue. A match can enter the queue only when both teams are known.
To change the order, tap a queued match and enter its new position. Clear Queue in the Admin menu removes every match from the queue. The matches themselves are not deleted, and you can add them back with Generate Queue.
