Fees on private event payments
Private events are included in your Good Game Sports plan. When an organizer pays by card, the company pays a service fee to GGS on top of your prices, and your club pays Stripe's card processing fee.
The service fee
It's 3% if your club takes court bookings in GGS, and 6% otherwise.
It's worked out on the proposal's subtotal before tax, and shows to the organizer as a Service fee line in their total.
Extras carry the same fee rate as the signed proposal.
Card processing
Card payments go straight to your club's connected Stripe account. Stripe's processing fee comes out of each payment, and your club covers it, the same as other card payments at your club.
Payments with no GGS fee
Checks, cash and account credit that you record on a proposal carry no GGS fee. The amount we fill in when you record one is what's owed without our fee, and the fee they would have paid still counts toward their balance.
Refunds
Refunds come out of your club's Stripe balance. GGS's service fee isn't returned on a refund, so a full refund gives the organizer back everything they paid while the fee stays with GGS.
