Run the bracket and enter scores
Once the bracket is generated, run it from the Knockout tab. Winners advance automatically as you score.
Enter bracket scores
Open the Knockout tab.
Tap a match card.
Enter the score and submit.
The winner advances to the next round immediately and the bracket redraws. There is no separate step to move teams forward.
How each bracket behaves
Single elimination — one loss ends a team's event. The bracket runs down to a single champion.
Double elimination — a first loss drops a team into the consolation bracket rather than ending their event. They can keep playing and still reach the championship. A team is out after two losses.
Compass — teams that lose in round 1 of a bracket drop to the next bracket rather than exiting. Bracket 1 quarterfinal losers also drop to Bracket 4. Every team is guaranteed at least 3 games.
Byes
Teams with a bye advance automatically — you do not score a bye. They join the bracket at their first real match.
Third-place match
If your bracket has two real semifinals, a bronze match appears for the two semifinal losers. Score it like any other match, or leave it — it does not block the final from being played or the event from finishing.
If a semifinal contained a bye, there is no bronze match.
Pool results are separate
Bracket matches are their own set of matches. Scoring the bracket does not change pool standings, and pool standings do not change once the bracket starts. The Standings tab continues to show the pool results.
