Set match times and courts for your schedule
We don't place every match into its own court and time slot automatically. Instead you set times at the level each format uses: a date and time for each round with Manage Round Dates, a start time and courts for each group in ladder formats, and a start time on each bracket match with Add Time. Courts are given out per match, by hand with Assign Court or automatically with Auto-Assign Courts.
You need to be the event's host or a club admin. All of these are on the event's Matches tab.
Give each round a date and time
Use this when rounds start at different times, for example Round 1 at 6:00 PM and Round 2 at 6:30 PM, or league weeks on different dates.
On the Matches tab, tap Admin.
Choose Manage Round Dates. In some leagues the menu item reads Manage Play Dates, and in leagues the window is titled Manage Play Dates.
Tap a round and pick its date, then its time.
Tap Save.
Give a ladder group its own courts and start time
In ladder formats (Ladder League, Up and Down the River, Humpty Dumpty, Cream of the Crop, Crazy 8's, Pecking Order), each group can have its own courts and start time.
On the Matches tab, press and hold the group's filter chip.
Tap the group's court or courts.
Optional: under Group Start Time (optional), tap Set time and pick a time.
Tap the blue Assign button (for example Assign Court 3).
For more on ladder courts, see Court management in Ladder formats.
Set a start time on a bracket match
In single, double and triple elimination, Compass and consolation brackets, each match can show its own start time.
Open the bracket and find the match.
Tap Add Time on the match card.
Pick the date and time, then tap Save.
Players see the time on the bracket card. It's for information only: nothing is scheduled or moved because of it. To clear it, tap the time and choose Remove Time. Byes never get a time.
Put matches on courts
By hand: tap Assign Court on a match card and pick the court.
Automatically: in the Admin menu, turn on Auto-Assign Courts to send the next ready matches to courts as they free up.
When one division needs different courts or a later start than the rest of the event, set that up per division. See Court configuration per division.
