Edit, remove, or reinstate a player
Fix a player's name, contact details, division, partner, or DUPR details in the Edit Player dialog: tap the pencil (Edit player) on their row in the Host Dashboard's Players tab. The same dialog is where you remove a player or add a withdrawn player back.
Edit a player
Open the Host Dashboard and go to PLAYERS.
Tap the pencil on the player's row, or tap their name and click Edit.
Change any of the fields below.
Click Save.
The fields are Name, Division, Email, Phone, Gender, DUPR ID, Estimated rating, DUPR Rating (once a DUPR ID is entered), Partner (in doubles divisions), and Emergency Contact Name and Emergency Contact Phone (when your event collects them).
Changing Division moves the player; see Moving players between divisions. To update DUPR ratings for everyone at once, use Refresh Ratings on the Players tab.
Remove a player
Use this when someone leaves the event or league. Removing doesn't refund a card payment; refund it separately from their Player Information. If they paid with club credit, the remove dialog returns it unless you untick the box to return their account credit.
Open Edit Player for the player.
Click Delete.
Enter a Reason and click Remove.
What happens depends on whether they've played:
Hasn't played yet: their registration is removed outright.
Has played: they're marked Withdrawn. Their completed matches and their opponents' results stay, and they're left out of matches you generate from now on. Find them with the Withdrawn filter.
Either way, if they were in matches that were drawn but not yet played, you're told how many (a removed player leaves an empty spot there). Forfeit those matches, put a substitute in, or delete and regenerate the round.
Removing one half of a fixed pair takes the whole pair off the schedule. See Removing a player who has a set partner.
Add a withdrawn player back
Open Edit Player for the withdrawn player.
Click Reinstate, then Add back.
They're drawn into matches again the next time you generate.
