Fix common Standard Round Robin (Set Partners) schedule and roster problems: players left out, matches that won't rebuild, uneven schedules after a dropout, teams stuck in their pool, repeated byes, and lost scores. Most fixes use the Admin menu on the Matches tab.
In a doubles division, a player with no partner is not paired with anyone when you generate. They are left out, and a message after generating names the players who were skipped.
On the Players tab, use the pencil icon on the player to set their partner.
Regenerate the rounds that haven't been played yet (see below).
For a large roster, upload a spreadsheet where each player's row names their partner in the Member Partner column.
Running Generate Matches on a division that already has matches replaces all of them. After you tap Replace, the current matches, court assignments, round dates and scores are deleted.
To keep played rounds, save a change in Edit Groups and choose From a round in the Regenerate Matches dialog, or use Clear Round to clear only the rounds you pick.
Moving teams between pools changes nothing until you regenerate.
Open Edit Groups, make your changes and save.
In Regenerate Matches, choose From a round and pick the first unplayed round.
Tap Regenerate.
On a league viewed By Date, the Regenerate Matches dialog covers only the play date on screen.
Remove Teams (offered in Regenerate Matches when you move a team to Excluded in Edit Groups) drops the team from all future rounds and keeps played games. It does not rebalance pools or fill the gaps it leaves, so the opponents it was scheduled to play sit out those rounds.
To rebuild the rest of the schedule around the teams you still have, regenerate with From a round, starting at the next unplayed round. Completed scores before that round are kept.
Pools are self-contained by default. Tick Allow cross-pool play when you generate, or Allow cross-group play when you regenerate. Teams can then play opponents from any pool. Tick it again each time you regenerate.
A pool with an odd number of teams has one team sitting each round. Restrict to N Courts also gives byes when there are more matches than courts.
For an odd pool, make the team count even (add a team, or move one in Edit Groups), then regenerate the remaining rounds.
For a court limit, configure more courts, or regenerate with Restrict to N Courts unticked.
A bye is not a loss; the team has played one fewer match.
Teams with a bye are listed after Bye: above that round's matches. Put the bye team into a match in place of another team; the team you take out sits out the round instead.
On the Matches tab, find a match in that round.
Tap the pencil icon next to the team that should sit out.
Choose Replace, pick the team with the bye, then tap Replace Team.
To have two playing teams trade matches, choose Swap instead.
In a league you can clear a round in the middle, which leaves a gap such as rounds 1, 3, 4. There is no warning, so check the rounds you picked before you confirm. In other events, rounds clear from the last round down, so no gap appears.
Choosing All rounds in Regenerate Matches replaces every round, and completed matches and scores are deleted. There is no undo, so the scores have to be re-entered. Next time choose From a round; it starts after your last scored round by default.
