Give members a lower price on event entry fees
Members pay less to enter your events through their membership tier. Set a discount once on each tier under Benefits > Events, and every event you create starts with those member prices filled in. You can then adjust them per event under Member pricing by tier in the event's Pricing section.
Member pricing needs memberships switched on for your club and applies to events using GGS Registration. Only the club owner can edit tiers. Any host can set prices on an event.
Set a tier's event discount
Go to Members > Tiers & plans and open a paid tier.
Under Benefits, tap Events.
If your club uses event categories, choose Apply to all for one discount on Every event, or By category to set each category separately.
Enter a percentage (%) or dollars off ($), then tap Done.
Click Save on the tier.
A percentage comes off the entry fee, and off a tournament's division fees too.
Dollars off comes off the entry fee only. Division fees are charged in full, and an event with no entry fee is unaffected, so price those by percentage.
Free tiers can't carry discounts. To let the dues cover some events outright, use Included events on the same screen.
Adjust member prices on one event
In the event's Pricing section, enter the regular price. The field reads Price: non-members & Free tier or Base Price.
Open Member pricing by tier. Each paid tier's price is worked out from its event discount.
Tick Custom beside a tier to type your own price for it.
Apply base price to all tiers sets every tier to the regular price, and Reset to tier discounts puts the worked-out prices back. For a league with drop-in dates, each tier has a Season price and a Per date price.
Members-only events
Set Who can register to Club members only to keep non-members out. The price field then reads Price: Free tier (or Base Price), which is what members on your free tier pay.
What members pay at registration
A member pays the price for the tier they hold when they register. Someone with no tier, or on the free tier, pays the regular price.
A custom tier price is charged exactly as typed, so don't set one above the regular price.
A member whose membership is paused pays the regular price until it resumes.
Early bird and other pricing tiers apply to non-members only. See How pricing tiers work.
A tier priced at $0 for an event lets its members register for free, as long as they still hold that tier.
