Give members a discount on private events
Give members of a tier a percentage off their private events, applied automatically when you link the organizer's request to their account. Linking also lets you put their account credit toward what they owe.
Add the discount to a tier
Go to Members > Tiers & plans and open the tier.
Enter a Private event discount %.
Save the tier.
This is separate from the tier's discount on regular events, so you can set each on its own.
Link the organizer to their account
The link happens on its own when someone submits the request while signed in to GGS with the same email. Otherwise, link it from the proposal page:
In the Request card, click Link a member.
Pick the suggested match, or search for the member by name or email.
Once linked, a "Member discount" line with their tier's percent appears on the proposal. You can remove the line if the discount shouldn't apply. To change or remove the link, use Change the linked account or Unlink on the same card.
If the proposal is already out with the organizer, the member discount waits for your next version. Click Revise, then send the new link.
Use their account credit
When the linked member has account credit, you can put it toward the deposit, balance or extras. We never spend it without you choosing to.
On the proposal page, in the Payments card, click Record a payment.
Choose Account credit. The amount is capped at what's owed and at their credit.
Record it.
GGS takes no service fee on the part paid with account credit.
