Editing player info

Use the Edit Player dialog to fix a player’s name, email, phone, or rating details after registration. Clean records help you send messages to the right person and seed players correctly.

Open the Viewing and filtering registered players article if you need help finding a player first.

Edit a player

  1. Open the host dashboard and go to PLAYERS.

  2. Find the player and click Edit player.

  3. Update the player’s Name, Email, Phone, or rating fields.

  4. Click Save.

When to update ratings

Use the rating fields when a player’s DUPR, VAIR, Anchor Rating, or Self-Rating is out of date. If your event uses rating rules or seeding, keep these values current before you generate brackets or standings.

Why clean player data matters

Correct contact details make it easier to reach players about schedule changes, check-in issues, or match updates.

Next, review the player list again to confirm the update is saved and the player appears in the right division.
