Fix common problems with the playoff stage of Round Robin to Single Elimination, Round Robin to Double Elimination and Round Robin to Compass: wrong seeding, a bracket that won't generate, too many teams for Compass, pool-mates meeting in round 1, no semifinals, and corrected pool scores that didn't reach the bracket. The bracket was probably generated before every pool match was scored, so it used incomplete standings. In Round Robin to Single Elimination, the app warns you about this but lets you continue.
Finish scoring every pool match.
On the bracket tab, tap Admin and choose Generate Bracket again. It replaces the old bracket.
If only the order is off in Round Robin to Single Elimination and no bracket match is completed, use Edit Seeds instead.
Round Robin to Compass takes every team that can still play and stops if there are more than 16. Withdraw teams until 16 or fewer remain, or run the event as Round Robin to Single Elimination or Round Robin to Double Elimination.
Withdrawn pairs and teams that lost a partner are left out of the bracket. If fewer than 2 teams remain, generation stops; in Double Elimination and Compass the existing bracket is left as it is. Check the roster on the Players tab, then generate again.
In Round Robin to Single Elimination, Seed Overall merges every pool into one ranking, so pool-mates can meet in round 1. Regenerate and choose Seed by Pool (recommended), which spreads each pool through the bracket. The choice appears for Pick Total Number of Teams and Pick All Teams when there is more than one pool.
That option creates two matches only: the top two teams play the final and 3rd plays 4th. It needs at least 4 teams. To have the top 4 play semifinals, regenerate with Pick Total Number of Teams and choose 4.
Advancement options exist only in Round Robin to Single Elimination (and the KNOCKOUT tab of Standard Round Robin (Set Partners)). Round Robin to Double Elimination puts every team that can still play into a bracket of at least 8 places (byes fill any gaps), and Round Robin to Compass takes everyone up to 16.
The bracket is seeded once, when you generate it. Generate it again to pick up the corrected standings. Bracket scores already entered are deleted, so do this before the playoff gets going.
Edit Seeds is greyed out with Locked: a match has been completed once a bracket match has a result. To change seeding after that, generate the bracket again, which deletes bracket scores.
