Check-in and check-out
Use check-in to mark players who have arrived and are ready for day-of-event operations. Use check-out to clear someone after they leave or should no longer be active for the event.
For league events, this surface uses Opt In and Opt Out instead of check-in and check-out. Refer to League opt-in
When to use it
Check players in when they arrive at the desk, confirm attendance, or are ready to be included in match play. Check them out when they leave early, withdraw, or should be removed from the active player list.
Checking players in helps you keep the event list current before you start matches, assign courts, or send players to their first round.
How check-in affects event flow
Checked-in players are easier to manage during live play because your active list matches who is actually on site. If check-in is disabled for an event, players will see a message to check in at the desk.
Use this with Viewing and filtering registered players to review the roster before play starts.
Match status context
Check-in does not change a match status by itself, but it helps you manage who is available before matches begin.
What to do next
After you finish check-in, confirm the active player list is current in Viewing and filtering registered players.
