Set event setting defaults for your club

Choose how new events start on the Event setting defaults page, so you don't have to set the same Event Settings on every event. Open your club, tap Settings, then Event setting defaults under Events. Any club admin can do this, on the app or on the web.

The refund window, registration timing and player list are on the separate Event defaults sheet, just above it.

Set defaults for all events or one format

A format's own values win over your all-events values.

• Under Settings for, choose All events to set values for every format.

• To set something different for one format, tap Format exception and pick the format. It gets its own choice under Settings for.

• Anything you leave unset keeps the usual default.

• The Events start with: line under each setting shows what a new event will get.

When defaults apply

Defaults are copied when an event is created, whether you make it in Good Game Sports or create it from a CourtReserve event. A division you add to an event later uses the defaults at that time.

• Changing your defaults never changes events that already exist.

• Each event can still change its own settings in Event Settings.

• New dates in a recurring CourtReserve series copy the settings of an existing event in the series first, and use your defaults only for anything that event doesn't have.
