Generating matches in Round Robin
Generate matches after your players, teams, and groups are set. Standard Round Robin uses the same partner for the full division. Rotating partner formats switch partners each round and use a different generate flow.
Generate matches for standard Round Robin
Tap the admin button on the matches page.
Select Generate Matches.
Choose your generation settings.
Tap Continue, then Confirm.
Choose generation settings for standard Round Robin
This flow is for formats where teams stay together for the full event.
Single Round Robin: each team plays every other team in its group once.
Double Round Robin: each team plays every other team in its group twice.
Custom Rounds: enter the exact number of rounds, from 1 to 100.
Number of Groups: split teams into separate round robin groups.
Cross-Group Play: allow matches between different groups.
The maximum number of groups depends on your roster size. Each group must have at least two teams.
Generate matches for switch partner formats
Use this flow for rotating partner formats where players change partners each round. For format details, see Rotating partner Round Robin formats.
Tap the admin button on the matches page.
Select Generate Matches.
Enter the number of rounds.
Enter the number of pools.
If you choose more than one pool, select either Random Pools or customize the pools.
Tap Continue, then Confirm.
In switch partner formats, groups contain individual players, not fixed teams. If you need to rebalance players before or after generation, use Editing groups in Round Robin.
What happens after generation
Matches appear by round.
Court assignments appear if courts are already configured. See Court Management (Round Robin).
In switch partner formats, the system assigns partners automatically each round. See Rotating partner Round Robin formats.
In pool play formats, this creates only the round robin phase. Generate the playoff bracket later. See Generating the bracket after pool play.
Regenerate matches
You cannot generate new matches on top of an existing round. Clear the round first, then generate again with the new settings. If you changed groups or pools, start with Editing groups in Round Robin. If you need to remove matches first, see Managing rounds in Round Robin.
