Add players to your event
From the Players tab in your event's Host Dashboard, you can add players one at a time, paste a list of names, upload a spreadsheet, sync from CourtReserve, or share the event link so players register themselves. You can mix methods in the same event.
Add an individual player
Use this for one player at a time. A player who already has a Good Game Sports account can be found by search, so their details fill in for you.
On the event page, tap Host Dashboard (Host View on a phone), then open the PLAYERS tab.
Click Add, then Add Individual Player. On a narrow screen, open the ⋮ menu, select Add Player, then Add Individual Player.
In Find an existing player, type their name, username, email or phone, and pick them from the results. Their name, email, phone, DUPR and gender fill in.
For someone without an account, click Add a guest instead, or Add "name" as a guest after a search finds no match, and enter their name. The entry moves to their account when they claim it.
If your event has multiple divisions, check each division the player should enter.
Tap Continue.
A search result shows whether the person is a club member, and On this event with their division if they're already on the roster.
For doubles, set a partner under Additional Player Information. The Partner field lists only players already in that division, so add the partner first.
On a paid event you can take payment on the spot. See Charge a player's card when you add them to an event.
Add multiple players at once
Use this when you have a list of names and no file. Clubs with facility management can also tick players from the club's member list, which links each player's account instead of adding a name only.
On the Players tab, click Add, then Add Multiple Players.
Select the division.
Pick club members or type names, as below.
Click the add button at the bottom, which shows how many players you're adding.
If the list goes over the division's capacity, you're warned and can still add them with Add anyway.
Pick club members
For facility clubs the dialog opens on Club members, and you can switch to Type names at any time. Searching members needs club admin or linked coach access. Anyone else sees an error there and can switch to Type names instead.
Search members by name or email and tick each one to add. Your picks stay while you search again, and Clear removes them all.
Members already in the division, including withdrawn players and substitutes, are marked Already in division. If you switch divisions, picks already in the new one are dropped.
When nobody matches, tap Not a member? Add "name" by name to switch to Type names with that name added.
Picked members are added individually, without partners.
Type names
Clubs without facility management see only this option.
Paste or type names into Player Names, one per line.
For doubles, pair partners on one line with a slash, for example
John Smith / Jane Doe.Review the preview and count, then add them.
Charging players you add in a batch
On club events that use Good Game Sports registration, players added here aren't charged. To charge someone, add them with Add Individual Player instead. When a facility club adds exactly one player here, you can take payment at the desk if they owe an entry fee.
Upload a spreadsheet
Click Upload on the Players tab to import a CSV or XLSX file into one division, choosing Add to Existing or Replace All. For the columns the file needs, team-event uploads, and importing a file in any layout with Deuce, see Upload players to an event from a spreadsheet. PDFs can't be imported.
Sync from CourtReserve
If your event was created from a CourtReserve event, its registrations sync in. The Players tab shows when it last synced from CourtReserve; tap the refresh icon in that bar to pull the latest registrations now. On team events, tap Sync CR instead.
Let players register themselves
Share the event link and players register through the event page. The share button is on the event page, not in the Host Dashboard.
On the event page, tap the share icon at the top right.
Choose Copy Link to copy the event link (
https://app.ggsports.co/tournament/followed by the event's ID), or Share via... to send it from your device's share sheet.
There's no registration QR code. To put the link on a poster or screen, turn the copied link into a QR code with any QR generator.
