Check-in and check-out
Check players in from the Host Dashboard's Players tab when they arrive, one at a time or a whole division at once, and check them out when they leave or should no longer be active.
For league events, these controls read Opt In and Opt Out instead. See League opt-in.
Check in one player
In the Players tab, tap the player's row to open Player Information.
Tap Check In. Tap Check Out to reverse it, for example when someone leaves early or withdraws.
On a private event, you can also tap the status icon on the player's row to check them in or out.
Check in a whole division
Use the division header menu (the Division actions button next to the division name) when everyone is on site.
Check In Everyone checks in every player in that division.
Check Out Everyone clears the whole division.
In a league the same menu has Opt In Everyone, Opt Out Everyone, Opt In All Except Opted-Out, Opt Out All Except Opted-In, and Set Everyone to Waiting. Each one works on one division at a time.
Status icons on the player list
On the Host Dashboard's Players tab, each player has a status icon:
Green check: checked in, or in a league, opted in for the current session.
Red cross: not checked in, or in a league, opted out.
Orange hourglass (leagues only): still Waiting for an answer.
The icon only tracks check-in. Claiming a spot or linking DUPR does not turn it green. The player still needs to check in, or opt in for a league session.
Let players check themselves in
Check-In Configuration in Event Settings controls, per division, whether players can check themselves in from the app. When it's off for a division, players are told to check in at the desk or talk to the tournament host, and you check them in from the Players tab.
Match status context
Check-in does not change a match status by itself, but it helps you manage who is available before matches begin.
