SaveMyPlay

How SaveMyPlay recordings work

SaveMyPlay recordings depend on three things working together: a connected SaveMyPlay integration, correct court mapping, and an event with the video package add-on enabled. If any of those pieces are missing, recordings will not attach cleanly to matches.

Before you rely on recordings for a live event, confirm your token is current and each event court is mapped to the correct SaveMyPlay court or camera. See Set up the SaveMyPlay integration.

How Does It Work?

  1. Mark a match "live." When it's time for your match, assigns the match to a court and mark it as live. This is what triggers the camera to start recording.

  2. The camera records automatically. Once the match is live on a camera-equipped court, SaveMyPlay begins recording. Each player in the match gets their own individual recording.

  3. Recording stops when the match ends. As soon as the final score is submitted, the recording stops automatically.

  4. Your recording appears on player profile. After the match is complete, a "View Recordings" button will show up on the player profile. Do I Need to Pay for Recordings?

Requirements

  • The venue must have SaveMyPlay cameras installed and connected by the club admin.

  • Your match must be played on a court that has a camera mapped to it.

  • The match must be marked as live (court-only assignments without going live will not trigger a recording).
