Auto-generation in Ladder formats
Auto-generation creates the next ladder round automatically after the current round is finished. Use it when you want a session to keep moving without starting each round by hand.
You must generate Round 1 manually before you can turn on auto-generation.
Enable auto-generation
Tap the admin button.
Select Enable Auto-Generation.
Enter the total number of rounds to create, or leave it blank for unlimited rounds that continue until you stop auto-generation.
Choose the sorting method for future rounds.
Choose the Bye Mode for handling uneven player counts (optional).
If your league has multiple play dates scheduled, choose when to place the next round:
Same Date (New Round) — The next round stays on the current date. Use this for back-to-back rounds during a single play session. This is the default.
Next Week / Date — The next round advances to your next scheduled league date. Use this when each round should align with a different play night.
Confirm.
For more on Bye Mode, see Bye Mode for Ladder Leagues. To schedule multiple league dates in advance, see Managing rounds and dates in Ladder formats.
How auto-generation works
Auto-generation is triggered by match completion, not by a timer. As soon as all matches in the current round are complete, the next round is created with the sorting method you selected.
If you set a round count, you'll see progress such as 3/5 rounds completed.
If you leave the round count blank, generation continues indefinitely until you stop auto-generation.
If you chose Next Week / Date, each new round is assigned to the next scheduled league date in your calendar.
Already-generated rounds stay in place if you turn the feature off later.
For leagues with only one play date, Same Date (New Round) is the only option and is selected automatically.
Disable auto-generation
Tap the admin button.
Select Stop Auto-Generation.
Disabling auto-generation stops future rounds from being created automatically. It does not remove rounds that already exist.
When to use it
Use auto-generation for single-session events such as a league night with several rounds in a row. If players opt in week by week or your rounds happen on different dates, use Next Week / Date to have each round move to the next scheduled play date automatically. To create the first round, see Starting games in Ladder formats. To manage dates or clear a round, see Managing rounds and dates in Ladder formats.
