Add and manage team subs in an MLP league

In a league whose division uses the MLP format, team subs are players attached to one team who play only when you put them in that team's lineup. Each play date they play, their saved card is charged the division's sub price the next morning. You add, move and remove subs from the team cards on the Players tab of the Host Dashboard.

Add a sub to a team

1. Open the event's Host Dashboard and go to the Players tab.

2. Expand the team's card and tap Add Sub.

3. Enter the player's Username (if they have an account), or their Name. Email (optional) and Phone (optional) are optional.

4. Tap Add sub.

A sub without an account can't be charged automatically. Their weeks show as owed in Sub payments.

Make a free agent a sub

1. On the team's card, tap Add From Free Agents.

2. At the top, choose Add as sub (it shows the price per week) instead of Add as player.

3. Pick one free agent and tap Make sub.

4. Review what happens to their season fee, then tap Make sub again.

The season fee is never charged once they become a sub:

• A season fee still waiting on their card is cancelled.

• A season fee they already paid can be refunded to their card or kept. You choose. Either way, they still pay for each week they play.

Move or remove a sub

A sub plays only for their own team. To have them fill in for another team, move them first.

1. In the team's Subs: list, tap the ⋮ menu on the sub.

2. Choose Move to another team and pick the team, or Remove sub and tap Remove.

You can't remove a sub who is in an upcoming lineup. Take them out of those lineups first. Weeks a removed sub already played, and anything they owe, stay in Sub payments.

What the team card shows

• The collapsed row shows Subs: N and, when subs owe money, Subs owe $X.

• The Subs: list shows each sub with a SUB tag, whether they have a card saved, the weeks they played for this team and PAID or OWES amounts.

Put subs in lineups

Open Set Lineup for the team. Subs appear in the player picker as, for example, "Sub · $15.00 per week played". A sub who owes for a week can still play. Subs receive event announcements like other players. See Edit team lineups by round.

After you generate matches, add rounds or regenerate from a round, a dialog lists the subs in the new lineups with their rounds and price per week. It also warns about rounds with no play date, since subs can't be charged for those.
