Set up team sub pricing in an MLP league
In a league whose division uses the MLP format, you set what team subs pay for each week they play in Event Settings > Team Subs, one division at a time. You can also give each membership tier its own price and cap how many subs a team carries. Season players still pay once at registration and are never charged per week.
A sub belongs to one team and plays only when you put them in a lineup. Their saved card is charged the sub price the morning after each play date they actually play.
Team subs exist only in MLP league divisions. Events created with the Team Event / MLP format don't have them.
Set the price for a division
Open the event's Host Dashboard, go to the Settings tab and tap Event Settings.
Tap Team Subs.
If the event has more than one division, pick one under Division.
Enter Sub price per week played.
Optionally enter Most subs per team (optional), a whole number from 1 to 50. Leave it blank for no limit. Subs don't count toward Max Team Size.
If your club has memberships, enter tier prices under Member prices per week. A blank tier uses the division's sub price.
Tap Save.
The Add Sub button appears on team cards only in divisions that have a sub price.
Set one price for every MLP division
In Edit Event, the Pricing section has Sub price per week played (optional) and Most subs per team (optional). A value you enter there replaces that setting in every MLP division of the event. When divisions already have different settings, the fields show Varies by division, and a field you leave untouched keeps each division's own setting. Member prices are set only in Team Subs.
Fees and free subs
A sub whose membership tier absorbs processing fees pays no fees on sub weeks, the same as on their own registrations.
To stop charging a division's subs, clear its Sub price per week played. Weeks played from then on aren't charged. Subs already on teams stay there, but Add Sub no longer appears.
If you set a price after subs have already played, those earlier weeks are charged too.
Team subs are not the sub pool
Team subs belong to one team and pay per week played. They are separate from the division sub pool used in other leagues. See Keep a sub pool and choose how subs affect standings.
