Setting up your club page

Club feed and announcements

Use announcements to keep players informed about your club and your events. Club admins use them for timely updates, while event hosts use the event feed for match-day communication.

Before you post announcements, make sure your club profile is complete so players can recognize the club and contact the right people. See Creating a club profile.

What to post

Use club-wide announcements for updates that matter across the club, such as schedule changes, facility notices, registration reminders, or general announcements that affect multiple events. Use event-specific messages when the update only applies to one tournament or league, such as court changes, check-in reminders, weather delays, or score and schedule updates.

Event announcements are better for anything players need during play. The event feed is also where you can send messages that reach participants in that event and show up as push or email notifications.

How players stay informed

Players can check announcements in the app, and they can also receive push notifications or email when you send an update. That makes it easier to reach players quickly when a court assignment changes or when you need to share a last-minute notice.

When to use push or email

Use push for urgent, time-sensitive updates. Use email when the message is longer or when players may need to refer back to it later. For match-day communication and event follow-up, see Running Your Event and Sending announcements.

Next, set up the rest of your club communication workflow so the right admins can post updates and manage event communication from the right place.
