It is a one-time code and someone has redeemed it. Create a new code without One-time use only and share that one.
How promo codes work
A promo code takes a percentage or a fixed dollar amount off a player's registration for one event, during a date window you set. You create codes in Manage Promo Codes in your event's settings, and players enter them at checkout when they register through GGS Registration.
Create a promo code
You need to be a host of the event or an admin of its club.
Open your event, tap Host Dashboard, and go to the Settings tab.
Tap Event Settings, then Manage Promo Codes.
Tap New Code.
Enter the Promo Code, for example SUMMER25. Codes use letters and numbers only and are saved in capitals.
Choose Percentage or Fixed Amount and enter the discount.
Set Starts and Ends, and decide whether to switch on One-time use only.
Tap Create.
Unless you change it, the valid period starts today and ends when registration closes (or when the event starts, if registration has no closing time). Players can type the code in any case.
A code belongs to the event you created it in. To run the same promotion across several events, create the code in each one.
What "One-time use only" means
It caps the code at one redemption for the whole event. The first player to use it gets the discount, and every player after that is told the code has already been used.
It does not mean each player can use the code once. Leave it off (the default) for a code you share with a group, such as a member discount or a newsletter code. Without it, a code can be redeemed any number of times.
Turn on One-time use only just for a code meant for one person. On a shared code, it discounts the first registration and rejects everyone else.
How the discount is applied
A Percentage code is taken off the registration subtotal. A Fixed Amount code takes that many dollars off.
The discount never goes above the subtotal. A code that covers the full price makes the registration free.
A checkout that covers several divisions, or both partners in a pair registration, counts as one redemption.
The quick one-tap registration popup has no promo field. Players tap Full checkout options to enter a code.
Track redemptions
Each code in Manage Promo Codes shows a status and a usage count, so you can see how a promotion is going before registration closes.
Status: Active, Scheduled (not started yet), Expired, Used up, or Inactive.
Usage: Not used yet, a running count such as "Used 3 times", or for a one-time code, whether it has been used.
Tap View usage to see who used the code, their email, the divisions, when they registered, and the discount they got.
A redemption counts when the registration completes: when the payment succeeds, or when a free registration goes through. A player who applies a code but never pays doesn't use it up.
Edit, deactivate or delete a code
Tap a code to change its Starts and Ends dates or switch off Active. Inactive codes can't be redeemed. The code, the discount and the one-time setting can't be changed after you create it, so create a new code instead.
You can delete a code only if nobody has used it. For a used code, the app offers Make Inactive instead, which keeps its redemption history.
Why a player's code was rejected
The code has already been used
The code has expired, or isn't valid yet
The player is registering outside the code's Starts and Ends dates. Edit the code's dates to cover the period you're selling in.
The code is no longer active
The code was switched to inactive. Tap it in Manage Promo Codes and switch Active back on.
The code isn't found
Codes only work on the event they were created in. Check that the player is registering for the right event and typed the code correctly.
Discounts that apply automatically
A promo code only works when the player enters it. To change the price for everyone during a date range, such as early bird pricing or a late surcharge, use pricing tiers.
